When I first started researching Salehoo I found as many negative reviews as I did positive. I believe I know the reason for this. Salehoo Wholesale Directory is just what it says it is. A wholesale directory.
They give you access to over five thousand suppliers and just about every product imaginable. Their database of suppliers seems to be updated daily. Every supplier is thoroughly reviewed so that you do not get any nasty surprises. This makes dealing with foreign suppliers much less frightening.
Salehoo however is not DOBA. At DOBA you are selling items from a drop shipper so you don’t have as much risk. Your risk with DOBA is your auction fees, the customer service and shipping done by the drop shipper.
Ok, back to the reason for the negative reviews. Salehoo Wholesale Directory is a directory of over 5000 different suppliers. When choosing an item to sell you have to do your own research. For example, if you want to sell a Nikon camera and you don’t do your own research. You may find a supplier selling these for $150 and telling you that you can sell it on eBay for $300. Looks like a great deal doesn’t it? If you accept this at face value you will lose money.
If you had done your research you might find that because so many people have purchased the same camera to sell that the competition has become very tough. Now the camera is selling for $140 and your losing money. Those that do not do their research and lose are those that right the negative reviews.
You have to do your research. There are no get rich quick schemes that work. The laws of demand and supply always apply.
